To begin the job, the team used the ICE® 216 Vibratory Pile Driver/Extractor, a powerful piece of equipment designed to drive piles into the ground with precision and ease. In this case, they needed to drive 25' vinyl piles into the riverbed, creating a protective barrier wall. To achieve this, the team sometimes drove the piles in pairs, ensuring the wall was solid and stable.
Once the barrier wall was securely in place, the customer took a more hands-on approach. Using his own resources, he poured the concrete for the ramp, with the option of adding stones for fill to complete the job. By being self-sufficient, this property owner managed to keep the overall cost of the project around $25K while significantly increasing the property’s value by over $100K.
