Rapid Installation for a Strong Foundation
The process was nothing short of remarkable:
Equipment: UltraLum used the ICE® 50B Vibratory Driver/Extractor, equipped with Hydrauli-Flex hoses designed to handle high pressures, demanding applications and difficult conditions.
Efficiency: The first caisson, a 42-inch diameter pile with a 0.75-inch wall thickness, was driven 39 feet into the ground in just six minutes.
Precision: A second spliced section was UT-tested for weld integrity and driven another 34 feet deep, resulting in a robust 73-foot foundation in only 12 minutes of driving time.
Results: In a matter of hours, the billboard’s top piece was secured, ready for the next phase of wiring and digital setup.
