Hardman Construction: Driving Innovation in Foundation Work
The foundation for this incredible campus is being handled by Hardman Construction, a company renowned for its innovative approach to challenging builds. To tackle the demanding ground conditions of this project, Hardman turned to their local ICE® representative for a solution. They invested in a 2021 ICE® 33 Vibratory Driver/Extractor package, an advanced tool designed to drive H-beams up to 48 inches deep into tough soil.
Faced with hard driving conditions, Hardman showcased their ingenuity by customizing a lead setup for the piledriver and enhancing its performance with bias weights. This creative approach ensured efficient piling and allowed them to stay on schedule, laying a solid foundation for Ford’s ambitious new campus.
